I have always loved the little sandbox
soldiers. I used to place them around
my bed at night to ambush the scary
monsters. My favorite was the only
one that did not carry a gun. I think he
was the medic or something but I didn’t know what that was, so, I just thought he was a really nice guy. Those little plastic heros are the inspiration for this design. The nice solider on the right is giving a peace offering of heart shaped gernades. When
the smiley faced clips are pulled there is a peace explosion. Ok, that is lame but it
is a fun design that tells of one of the most basic and beautiful ideas of our faith.
The message goes even deeper in a time like this. When half the world is at war. When political parties are at eachothers throats. The world tells us how to handle our enemies. God has a different way. |
